A group of four Sri Lankan fishermen who  set sail on September 25, 2022 on board FV Neil Mary have been rescued by the Indian coast guard after they lost communication, Daily Mirror learns .

They met with it when they were sailing towards the East for their catch but got lost in the seas.

The group reached out to  various vessels and boats and eventually reached close to Andaman and Nicobar Islands where the Indian Coast Guard  extended all assistance to them and brought them to the Indian shores.

“They are now being taken care of by the Indian authorities and  Sri Lankan authorities have been contacted in order to expedite their repatriation back to Sri Lanka. The families of the Sri Lankan fishermen who were lost in the sea for 63 days were rejoiced at this news and are eagerly waiting for the family reunion. Indian naval assests have been of great value to the people of Sri Lanka including the fishermen on multiple occasions. It was the Indian Navy and Coast Guard which rushed with assistance and support in case of marine disasters caused by MT New Diamond and MV Xpress Pearl in 2020 and 2021 respectively,” an informed source said.

Oh my God! How much do we have to do this neighbor of ours? They choose to suck up Chinese dumplings and end up bankrupt. Then we have to save them. Provide them an unprecedented financial support of $3.8Billion. Send them fuel. Provide fertilizer for a bountiful harvest (not Chinese shit). Arrange credit lines. Donate rice and food. Send them medicines. Aid their fight against LTTE with arms and importantly intelligence to defeat them. And now we save these fishermen (no big deal, but where is SL Navy? In a pansala, all-night pirith chanting?). Even after all this, not that we expect, but does Sri Lanka show any gratitude? When every Asian country has progressed since their colonizers left them…India, Maldives, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore and so on…Sri Lanka has gone backward. Now bankrupt. And given the majority’s penchant for always electing corrupt incompetent leaders, even in another 50 years they will be still seeking India’s help!

All the pro Indian comments are coming from one same madman D B S Jeyaraj paid by Indians to lick their backside. This shameless only A/ L educated anti Sinhalese scum has no job, very old and so has all the time to spend reading the dm electronic version and make his comments. This Tamil converted Christian scum from the low classes was paid thousands 35 years ago to coverup Indian rapes and killings in Jaffna.

If our shinhala navy came across distressed Indian fishermen we would have quietly used them for target practice, stolen their catch and nets for selling and possibly their boat as well

@Proudly IndiAn: “but same time we keep an eye out for people like you.. mind it”. Hope you have three eyes. While two eyes are watching me (yes, look and learn from Indians, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, you asshole!), let’s hope your third eye is watching the orifice between your legs…because too much is dripping out of that, you retard. No way you an Indian, you imbecile.
