Top level Chinese delegation arrives in SL

A top level Chinese delegation of 26 members led by former Chinese Foreign Minister and current Communist Party Political Bureau Member Yang Jiechi arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake this evening.

The visit is expected to strengthen cooperation between Sri Lanka and China, in the areas of combating the global pandemic and revival of economic relations.

They are expected to meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today.

This visit will confine the delegation to Colombo and restrict their engagements to just two meetings with the Head of State and the Prime Minister, under the strict health protocol prescribed by the Ministry of Health. (T.K.G.Kapila)

Army commander, please quarantine them for 14 days to protect President and PM. If this is impossible then please don't ask anyone else to quarantine, to be fair for everyone.
