UNP parliamentary group will make a final decision on the future of the party including the leadership, Party General Secretary Gayantha Karunatilleke said today.

Mr. Kariyawasam told a press conference that the parliamentary group will come up with a final decision with regard to the party at today’s meeting after considering all different ideologies that have come up pertaining to the leadership.

“Some wants a leader who could win the confidence of the majority community while others want the middle-class people attracted by a new leader. We will consider all these and come up with a final decision” he said. (Yohan Perera)
