Kuwait has declared it would suspend all flights from Friday. However, the gulf country will limit inbound trips for Kuwaiti citizens and their first-degree relatives. Cargo flights are also excluded.   

Moreover, it announced public holidays from March 12 to 26. These steps have been taken to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus outbreak. According to Kuwait News Agency, residents will not be allowed to meet in restaurants, cafes and commercial centres. 

The Islamic Affairs Ministry will disseminate messages warning on the dangers of gatherings and informing worshippers on how to avoid infections at mosques.
