'I have a suicide squad'- Mervyn

Public Relations Minister Mervyn Silva said he has trained a team of suicide squad to protect the country and the President if the need arises.

The Minister added that 19 individuals including himself are ready to protect the President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Economic Minister Basil Rajapaksa, who are pilots of the country’s development, at any cost .

Minister Mervyn Silva expressed these views after signing a petition against the 'Darusman report' in Anuradhapura. (Athula Bandara)
