Issues like the plight of Sri Lankan Tamils will work against the ruling DMK in the Tamil Nadu assembly polls due in May, MDMK chief Vaiko said today.

The 2G spectrum scam and other issues like the plight of Sri Lankan Tamils will work against the ruling DMK in the Tamil Nadu assembly polls due in May, MDMK chief Vaiko said on Saturday.

While 2010 was the year of scams with the 2G spectrum allocation scam at the top, 2011 would be a year ofchanges in the political arena, he said.

He had time and again charged the Congress-led UPA with aiding the Sri Lankan army in its fight against LTTE in the last leg of the civil war.

Vaiko said Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse "cannot go scot-free" with regard to human rights violations allegedly committed by the Lankan army against Tamil civilians and said the international Tamil diaspora "would not spare him."

He said the issue would have its repercussions on DMK's poll prospects. He charged DMK President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi with doing little to stop the war or mitigate the sufferings of the ethnic Tamils. (PTI)

Well done Mr. Vaiko. You are one of the persons who understands what is human rights and how the the tamils have been suffering in Sri Lanka. Keep up your good work. The tamils do not need the DMK for the future.

Vaiko has gone Saiko. Solve your own problems locally that is your power. Anything outside is not yours and interferring in another Soverign country is beyond your league.Being spokesman for ltte is another matter. With your limited power outside, its like a barking dog seldom bites. There are bigger problems in Tamil Nadu which I think you cannot even solve, but you have the audacity to solve other countries problems.

Vaiko must be running out of money, so he is coming out with these statements to get more finances from the Diaspora. He is a LTTE man who was financially supported by this terror outfit. He is also one of the people from Tamil Nadu who were denying that Prabhakaran had been killed. These are all wasted politicians who do not have any strength or to get attention or be able to shift power bases in Tamil Nadu politics.

Enough reason for him to be deported from Canada when he went there for a LTTE sponsored agenda.

Vaiko is another of those frustrated politicians trying to create irrelevant issues, to be in the limelight & for his political survival.

I am sure the voters in Tamil Nadu are much more smarter than what you think and rest assured they are fully aware that you are one of the largest beneficiary of funds from the LTTE to add fuel to the fire in the state.

There he rants again. No wonder General Fonseka called these Tamil Nadu politicians a bunch of Jokers. As long as the Diaspora Tamils pay him well, Vaiko will go on his clownish charades. Even his face looks like that of a
con-man. JP/Indonesia

Vaiko is frightened that he might be omitted from the LTTE pay list and like many others he is also doing what he is paid to do by the LTTE.

Vaiko has been advocating violence against Sinhala people and that is why so many people died. Vaiko must understand that there will be peace in Sri Lanka and there is no room here for violence against Sinhala or Tamil. Why blame MR for everything, wasn't Prabhakaran responsible for massacres of innocent people?

We find still a virtual tamil leader in south India. He is suitable for the Indian theater groupe to dance in Tamil Nadu.
