Three associates of Lady Ridgeway Hospital employee tested positive

  • Students of St. Joseph’s College and St. Bridget’s Convent tested negative
  • Around 400 employees at the Colombo Municipal Council had been found negative

Three associates of the attendant at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital (LRH) had been tested positive, Chief Medical Officer Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) Dr. Ruwan Wijayamuni said yesterday. 

Dr. Wijayamuni told Daily Mirror that the three victims have been residing in the same boarding house where the first victim was detected. “We also tested around 80 persons who are living in the vicinity of the boarding house in Borella as well”.   


Also, he said PCR tests done on around 400 employees at the Colombo Municipal Council had been found negative. PCR tests were conducted on these employees as the wife of one worker was found to be positive. The victim was an employee of Brandix.   


Meanwhile, it was also reported that students of St.  Joseph’s College and St Bridget’s Convent who were subjected to PCR tests have also tested negative.   

 

 

  • Around 80 persons who are living in the vicinity of the boarding house in Borella were tested
