Lalithakala DVD & Bluray   by Chitral Somapala

The much awaited DVD and Bluray version of the successful concert Lalithakala held in February was launched last night during the ‘Memories of the fabulous Moonstones’ concert held at theBMICH. The songs from the concert which comprised a selection of the  most popular songs of PLA & Chitra Somapala  together with the best of Chitral Chitty Somapala are included in the DVD. It is in fact the complete concert which was staged in front of a full house at BMICH. The music is by some of the finest musicians in the local music scene led by veteran  Mahinda Bandara. The concert DVD also features Umara Sinhawansa. Some of the songs included in the DVD are Lalithakala, Dambulugale, Udarata Kandukara, Isurumuniye, Sukumala Bada Nalawa, Dakunu Lake, Sinhalokaye, Malakuth Thibuna, Man Adarei,Nadi Ganga and more. The song composed by Chirtal `Aharenna` which won him the presidential award for best film male singer is also included in the DVD/Bluray. The DVD is a production of Damayantha Kuruppu of DK Promotions who also presented the concert.
