Authorities discuss to lockdown Colombo?

Top authoritative sources told Daily Mirror yesterday that discussions were ongoing if Colombo can go for a lockdown for a few days in order to search for more infected people, as well as to stop a possible spread after recent patients were found from some areas.
Sources said that so far a confirmed decision had not been reached but the matter was being discussed at the top level.
Area police stations have also been prepared for a possible lock down but are awaiting further instructions. (Jamila Husain)

we very strongly urge the authorities to lock-down the whole country, or at least Colombo for a period of 1 week to start with. The situation is getting very dangerous.

We very strongly urge authorities to consider the plight of the general public before locking down Colombo or the entire country. Think of the sick who need medicine, people who need access to essential goods and services, including their innocent children. Some people who have wealth and power may quickly gain access to these but not the majority of Sri Lankans.

Most of you have not understand the difference between a curfew and a lockdown. Under lockdown, essential services are available, such as transport, groceries, medicine, food etc and you are not restricted from leaving home.
