First Sri Lankan Coronavirus patient recovers, discharged

First Sri Lankan Coronavirus infected patient in Sri Lanka, the 52 year old tour guide, completely recovered and has been discharged from the IDH in Angoda this morning, health officials said today

The tour guide, who provided services to a group of Italian tourists, was admitted to the IDH on March 11.

Health officials said the tour guide was kept under observation for the last few days though he was recovered several days ago.

Happy for you brother and for Sri Lanka. But even once tourism starts again, you should not work for that same ungrateful company that was only interested in making press releases just to say that you were not their permanent employee and that their office was safe, despite you getting infected working for them

Scientists and Mathematicians in the West are working flat out to find a vaccine to cure this virus and map out the path this virus is taking in terms of infection spread. But what doctors are doing in hospitals, world over, is just trying to keep the patients as healthy as possible by giving them nutrients and putting them, if need be, in ventilators, in the hope the patients own immune system would kick start and fight off the the virus. So depending on each patients immune system, some patients are recovering while others are dying. So there is nothing scientific the doctors are doing ,what the doctors are “practicing “ can be easily done by anyone with six months of training. Without Scientists finding a cure soon ,millions of people are going to die all over the world. I hope the Politicians in every country should not forget, if and when we come out of this biggest crisis, bring in the Scientists direct to the major hospitals and put them in charge of clinical medicine.

The virus will not survive in a hot climatical environment. It is our people from Italy. china. Korea bring these virus. Note - most of the countries near to the equator are not affected also live CLEAN and wash your hand, mouth after eating and environment at home and house environment. We heard the PM has call some political leaders, but he should call some doctors and scientists and implement their through military decision.
