Seelarathana Thera’s nomination for SLC Vice Presidency rejected

Ven. Battaramulla Seelarathana Thera who submitted his nomination to contest for the post of Vice President of Sri Lanka Cricket, has been turned down.

The prelate yesterday handed over the nominations to contest for the post.

It is reported that his nomination has been rejected due to his failure to fulfil  the required criteria.

The election to appoint office bearers for SLC for the next two years (2021-2023) is scheduled to be held on May 20
