It's because of people like you who suck up to these idiots, that they think they can get away with anything. Obviously, this is not the first incident, and it won't be the last.
Just because they have alcohol, where does it give them the right to beat up people? If they do, the same civil law should apply to them, which in our country, doesn't.

wait and see if justice is done.

@ ThisIsMyLanka. Why do you make a untrue comment about these goons? Are you looking for undue favors from them? Actions and comments from people like you help creating cowards look like hero's in the society. If you like to be proud of Lanka you should refrain from scum-bugs comments like this.

Both are Thomians of Mount. What a disgrace. Malaka was sacked and Rehan left before he was sacked. Rehan is the son of late Mano Wijeratne and the current consulate to Turkey Mrs. Bharathi Wijeratne. I cannot believe this guy who hails from a family of respected people connected to the Balasuriyas from Kandy and Tudawes from Colombo. Lofty wijeratne and Ranjan wijeratne will be proud of you son!

here it is licensed thugs from King_Banet, so army has no option but to keep their mouth shut

So this is the only way to get this thug - he has to surrender himself because our police cannot find him despite his public presence everywhere!

In this case, tying up the police is not a bad idea given their pathetic effort to arrest him.

Inquiry by Army against major? Why ? Can't servicemen go to private parties with friends? Don't Commanders go to clubs with friends? Should they wear uniform in such situations? Ultimately, the poor man will be punished and the culprit will go scot-free. That's what will happen!

Is this for real or just for show. They will be produced before a magistrate and bailed out. They should be remanded till the case comes for a hearing in court. These men should be taught a lesson; that they cannot go around beating people with impunity. These things have been going on for far too long in S/L. It's high time it was stopped and lessons taught.

I have known him for a long time and you has a heart of a lion just like his father.
People sometimes fight after alcohol and drugs.. in any society. This has been blown out of proportion just because he is a ministers son.
He has done the right thing by surrendering.

The rowdy donkey pay his gratitude to Army for saving our Mother Lanka by trying to murder them.
