PC sentenced for double murder

Kandy High Court Judge Manilal Waidyatilleke sentenced a Police constable for fifteen years rigorous imprisonment for the murder of his thirty-three-year-old wife and eight-year-old daughter at his home at  Uda Eiriyagama at Peradeniya.

The accused, a Police Constable  M.G.S.Amarsiri who was serving at is alleged to have shot his wife Nilantha de Silva ( 33 yeas) at their  home. (L.B.Senarate)
