UNF likely to sign MOU tonight

The United National Front is currently at a meeting and is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) tonight on the upcoming General Elections. Party leaders of the alliance are attending the meeting which is being chaired by UNP leader Ranil Wickramasingha. (ISA & JN)

It's obvious that Mr. RW will never step down . He will not allow anybody else to take his place . So the UNP has become Mr. RW and that's about it !

That is not true. UNP did not dump SF. SF is adament and wants the largest opposition party at thisi bidding. Though we did support the SWAN, we do not like what they are now trying to do the UNP.
