Well, CBK bought herself a castle in UK. Didn't she ?. Besides, she treated Mahinda as if he is not in the same class as herself.

It is true that cost of living should be controlled while projects like this are also undertaken. These all are part and parcel of an economy and have links to each other. Projects like this can generate more jobs, more productions, more money circulations etc in economy and can lead to reduction of living cost finally.

Dear Citizens, Last 30 years you, whoever did not get united as a fellow Sri Lankan either you are a Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims or a Bergers. That the main reason we were suffered by the LTTE terrorists inside the country and its all propaganda, unlawful actitivities against us abroad which have been arranged by the Tamil Diaspora and INGOs with the help of their Govt. Even now after the blady war, pls think twice to unite and work together with our President to take this country forward to be a wonderful nation. Therefore, my dear Sir, President, we are all proud of you. God bless you.

Still SL is a developing country. We have to pass some hard time during this period. First think of the country. Then the stomach. Spending huge amount of money and the same time can't do huge pay hike and reduce cost of living.

Eat more vegitable and fruts, eat less carbohydrates like rice and bread. Eat red rice, do not eat super white bread, Then you live healthy and would be able to keep your food budget under control too.

Good question. Reducing cost of living cannot be done in a knee-jerk reaction. Short term patch work will not help. When the country develops cost of living would gradually become manageable. This project is one step in a long term development plan for this country and we should appreciate it.

CBK must be furious with this regime. What she couldn't deliver in 10 long years are been done overnight by MR. No need of explanation as seeing is believing.. After all,MR won the impossible terror war and brought peace to SL.
