Dr. Shafi gets bail

Dr. Shafi Shihabdeen of the Kurunegala Hospital was granted bail by the Kurunegala Magistrate’s Court last evening.

The 42-year-old doctor was arrested by the police on May 24 and later handed over to the CID. He was accused of earning assets through suspicious means.
