16-hour water cut to impact several areas in Colombo

COLOMBO (Daily Mirror )- The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWS&DB) has informed residents of Colombo that water supply to certain areas will be temporarily halted for 16 hours, commencing tomorrow evening.

Starting from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, the water cut will affect residents in Colombo 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. Normal water supply is expected to resume by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 25.

The interruption in water service is attributed to essential maintenance work planned as part of the Ambatale Water Supply System Improvements and Energy Saving Project.

The NWS&DB has advised residents in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements to cope with the temporary water cut during the specified period.
