570 train derailments reported since 2020

Colombo , October 29 (Daily Mirror)- A total of 570 train derailment incidents, including those on railway lines and in railway yards, have been reported since 2020, according to the Railways Department.

They reported 98 derailments in 2020, 115 incidents in 2021, 132 in 2022, 139 in 2023 and 86 derailments in 2024.
