Anura Widanagamage appointed Uva province governor

Colombo, September 6 (Daily Mirror)-  Anura Widanagamage has been appointed as the governor of Uva province by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

He was appointed to fill the vacancy created after the resignation of former Uva Province Governor A.J.M. Muzammil.

Widanagamage, brother of State Minister Thenuka Widanagamage, is a former minister of the Uva Provincial Council.
