Body of airman found in Ratmalana

The body of an airman who died of suspicious circumstances was found near the Ratmalana Airport Junction early this morning, Police said.

They said investigations have been launched into the incident as some bleeding injuries were noticed on the victim’s body.

The victim who was attached to the Ratmalana Air force camp was identified as 40-year-old K.S. Deshapriya of Agalawatte.

Mount Lavinia police are investigating.
