CEB calls for proposals for 50MW Wind Farm facility in Mannar

Colombo, March 14 (Daily Mirror)- The Ministry of Power and Energy and the CEB have called for proposals on International Competitive Bidding (ICB) for a 50MW Wind Farm facility in Mannar, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said today.

The Minister said requests for the proposals have been advertised.

"The ICB calls for suitable developers with the financial and technical ability to develop a 50MW Wind Farm Facility in Mannar on a Build, Own and Operate (BOO) Basis," he posted in X. 

The Minister said the deadline to submit proposals is 9th May 2024.
