Colombo, Sep 18 (Daily Mirror) - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has released a photograph of a female suspect who is wanted in connection with a financial fraud involving Rs. 150 million.
Police said the CID has launched the investigation following a complaint that a plot of land valued at Rs. 150 million had been acquired through forged documents.
Investigators discovered that the woman allegedly signed the forged deed while impersonating someone else.
The police request the public to contact the Commercial Crimes Investigation Unit at 0112-2434504 or the CID Operations Room at 0112-2422176 if they have any information regarding the suspect.
