Canadian High Commissioner meets Anura Dissanayake

Colombo, March 13 (Daily Mirror)- Canadian High Commissioner Eric Walsh met National People's Power (NPP) leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the JVP Headquaters today where they discussed the economic and politcal situation in Sri Lanka.

Second Secretary (Political) Patrick Pickering and NPP MP Vijitha Herath also joined the meeting.

The dicussion focused on matters related to the current social, economic and political situation in Sri Lanka.

They also discussed the NPP's plans towards upholding national harmony.

The Canadian High Commissioner congratulated Dissanayake on his upcoming visit to Canada to meet the Sri Lankan community there.
