Daily Mirror shines at Journalism Awards

The Daily Mirror newspaper secured four accolades at the 'Journalism Awards for Excellence 2023'.

The Daily Mirror received awards for Best Photojournalist of the Year, Best Cartoonist, a Merit Award for Best Designed News Website of the Year and Subramaniam Chettiar Award for Reporting on Social Issues.

Award Winners:

• Best Photojournalist of the Year – Pradeep Pathirana
• Best Cartoonist – Awantha Artigala
• Merit Award for Best Designed News Website – www.dailymirror.lk
• In addition, Deputy Features Editor of the Daily Mirror Kamanthi Wickramasinghe won the Subramaniam Chettiar Award for Reporting on Social Issues.
