He told a news conference at the Government Information Department that the Meteorology Department has forecasted that rainy and windy conditions will reduce after November 29 and said that a decision will be taken on the date to resume the examination after assessing the weather situation after November 29.
He said students in flood affected areas must be given ample time to settle down after the weather improved adding that the new date will be decided after assessing the situation.
The Examinations Department suspended the 2024 GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examinations on November 27, 28 and 29 due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.
