The All Island School Van Operators Association (AISVOA) today requested their members to go for a school van fare hike after talking to the parents.
He said the association cannot demand an exact fare for school vans.
"With the recent fuel price increase, parents are also finding it very difficult get the day to day life going. Most parents live on a fixed monthly salary and their salaries have not been increased either," he said.
Therefore, we cannot demand a school van fee hike, he said.
