Colombo, October 30 (Daily Mirror)- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said today that electricity tariffs will be reduced in a few days.

Speaking at an election rally in Matara, he said the government was able to ensure continuous fuel supply at a lower rate despite claims that there will be fuel queues after the NPP came to power.

"The Opposition claimed during the Presidential election campaign that the NPP government will not be able to provide continuous electricity supply. We will not only ensure continuous electricity supply but we will also reduce electricity tariffs in a few days," he said.
