Colombo, April 14 (Daily Mirror) - An accident in the Helboda area of Pussellawa today (Sunday) has left two individuals dead, including a child, and four others injured after a van plunged down a precipice.
Police spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa confirmed the tragic incident, revealing that among the fatalities were a 2-year-old boy and a 70-year-old individual.
Further, four individuals sustained injuries in the accident and were rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
Further investigations into the accident are currently underway.
