Father arrested for stabbing son to death

Colombo , August 30 (Daily Mirror) - A 24-year-old youth was found stabbed to death with a sharp weapon by his father over a personal dispute in the Dehiattakandiya area last morning.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of the Serupitiya area of Dehiattakandiya.

The murder was committed due to a family dispute and investigations revealed that the father had stabbed his son and daughter-in-law with a sharp weapon.

Police said the suspect was arrested and Dehiattakandiya Police is conducting further investigations.
