Fire breaks out at a bank in Kalubowila

A fire has broken out at a private bank at Kalubowila, Kohuwala early this morning.

Police said a team from the Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia fire brigade had doused the fire. However, several areas of the bank and the ATM machine were destroyed.

The cause is yet to identified and the Kohuwala police are investigating the incident.
