Fire breaks out at water pump storage in Biyagama

A fire erupted at a storage facility where water pumps were stored at Bandarawatte in Biyagama this afternoon, Police said.

A large number of water pumps have been destroyed in the fire which was doused with the assistance of four fire trucks.

The cause for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
