The examination was postponed for six days from November 27.
According to the revised timetable, the subjects originally scheduled for December 4 will be conducted as planned. The Chemistry first paper, Technology Science first paper and Drama and Theatre first paper (in three languages) will be held in the morning, while the Political Science first paper will held in the afternoon, the Department said.
The Department has taken measures to distribute the updated examination timetable to all candidates. The new timetable will be printed in a different color to distinguish it from the original timetable, which was printed on white paper. Candidates will also be notified through newspaper notices and other media channels.
Candidates will be able to download their updated timetables from the official website of the Examinations Department.
No examinations will be held on December 24, 25 and 26, due to the festive season. All examination coordinating centres will remain closed on these days.
Regarding question papers, the Commissioner General assured that safety measures are in place to secure all question papers at the centres. Immediate steps will be taken to recall all question papers to the examination centres, if necessary.
