Health strike continues: Crucial meeting with Finance Minister scheduled

Colombo, Jan 16 (Daily Mirror) -  Despite a discussion between the health trade unions and the Health Minister, the ongoing strike will continue until another crucial meeting with the Finance Minister.

Accordingly, the Health Trade Union Alliance has confirmed that the health strike will persist until a crucial meeting scheduled with the Finance Minister at 3.30 pm today. 

The meeting aims to address the proposal submitted by the Alliance to the Ministry of Health.

In light of the ongoing strike, Sri Lanka Army personnel have been deployed to facilitate the healthcare services.
