Colombo, October 23 (Daily Mirror) -Heavy showers above 75 mm are likely in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Northern Provinces, the Forecasting Division of the National Meteorological Centre said.
They said thundershowers would occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-Western and Northern Provinces and in Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya.
Therefore, the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localised strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
