IUSF Convener arrested

Colombo, September 10 - The Convener of the Inter-University Student's Federation (IUSF) and several other demonstrators were arrested this afternoon near the Fort Railway Station during a protest march in Colombo.

The rally was against government policies affecting higher education and the rising cost of living.
