Colombo, November 25 (Daily Mirror) - The Public Day of the Industries Ministry was re-launched this morning after four years by the Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Sunil Handunnetti.
Addressing the event, the Minister mentioned that the last Public Day was held in 2020.
Accordingly, the Public Day of the Ministry will now be held every Monday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. During this time, anyone can meet the Minister in charge, the Ministry Secretary and other officials to address their concerns.
A large number of individuals, including micro, small, medium and large-scale industrialists, entrepreneurs, retired government officials and others attended today’s Public Day to seek solutions to their ongoing challenges.
Minister Sunil Handunnetti, along with other Ministry officials, provided immediate solutions to several issues raised during the event. For concerns that required further action, the Ministry referred them to the relevant institutions, ensuring necessary steps are taken to resolve them.
