Inflation in March 0.9, non-food inflation - 0.5: Siyambalapitiya

Colombo, March 30 (Daily Mirror) - Following the latest Central Bank report, the inflation in March was 0.9, and inflation in the non-food sector was 0.5, Finance State Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said.

This was revealed during a conference held in Ruwanwella this morning to clarify the facts regarding the latest Central Bank report.

The amount of tourism earnings of USD 162 million in February 2023 has increased to USD 346 in February this year.

The country's official reserves also stood at USD 2.2 billion in February 2023, but has grown to USD 4.5 billion by February this year.
