Jaffna medical students missing in forest found

Nine medical students of the Jaffna University, who went missing in Muththiyankattu Forest Reserve in Pudukuduirippu, have been found today, Police said.

They said the group of students had ventured into the forest for a research and had gone missing since yesterday.

They were rescued in a joint operation by a group of police personnel of the Oddusuddan police, army and villagers and brought to the Oddusuddan police station.(Sithum Chaturanga)
