Japanese firm Mirai Consulting meets EDB to explore Sri Lankan investments

Colombo, September 19 (Daily Mirror)- Japan-based regional consulting firm Mirai Consulting Group, represented by a high-level delegation, recently visited Sri Lanka to explore potential investment opportunities in various sectors. 

During the visit, the delegation met the Chairman of the Export Development Board (EDB) at the EDB headquarters to discuss potential collaborations and partnership opportunities between Sri Lanka and Japanese businesses. 

The team, led by the company's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Okada Atsushi engaged in meetings with the board to assess Sri Lanka’s investment climate and potential projects to gain insights into the country’s evolving economic landscape. 

"The visit is expected to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Japan, as well as promote investment and economic cooperation. The delegation's visit reflects the growing interest of Japanese investors in the country's potential for economic growth and development" the EDB said in a statement.
