Malik, Kabir summoned by Bond Commission

Minister of Public Enterprises development Kabir Hashim and Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama had been summoned by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) today, to testify with regard to the matters relating to the controversial bond issue.

Ministers Kabir Hashim and Malik Samarawickram’s names transpired during the proceedings in connection with a meeting said to have been held on February 26, 2015. (before the controversial bond auction day).

In addition, MP Hector Appuhamy (member of COPE) yesterday recorded a statement with the CID attached to the PCoI. (Shehan Chamika Silva)
