Colombo, August 12 (Daily Mirror) - A 35-year-old man died last night after being hit by a train travelling from Colombo towards Badulla.
The accident occurred last night (11) between the Pilimathalawa and Penideniya railway stations.
Police said that the identity of the victim has not been confirmed yet.
He had been reportedly hit by the train plying from Colombo towards Badulla.
The body of the victim has been placed at the Peradeniya Hospital, and the Peradeniya Police are conducting further investigations.
