Former Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said today he submitted the police a six-page document relevant to the statement he made over match-fixing.
He told a news conference in Nawalapitiya that the police recorded a statement from him at the Mahindananda Foundation in Nawalapitiya.
He said he was a spectator of the 2011 World Cup final match and that he felt suspicious while watching the match.
"After I returned to Sri Lanka, people who came to meet me requested me to conduct an investigation over the incident. I made a complaint to the ICC on October 30, 2011 as the Sports Minister,' he said. (Ranjith Rajapaksa)
