Millionaire businessman father’s vehicle crashes into son’s vehicle

BERUWALA (Daily Mirror) - Two cars driven by a millionaire businessman in Beruwala area and his son deliberately collided head-on each other in the early hours of yesterday (16) in Beruwala town, causing damage to the two vehicles, police said.

Police said that the father (53) is a boat-owning businessman and that he was living separately over a family dispute with his children and wife.

Police said that the incident took place at around 1.30 am when the father was coming from Payagala to Beruwala town in his car and the son was traveling from Beruwala towards Payagala in his car.

Police have received complaints that the two cars they were driving collided with each other in Beruwala town and that the son argued with the father and assaulted him after the incident.

The two vehicles involved in the incident have been brought to the police station.
