With a total of 369 more fresh Covid-19 cases was reported today, the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda cluster surpassed the 12,000 mark.
All new cases were identified as close contacts of the positive patients detected from the Peliyagoda fish market.
Accordingly, the total cases of the cluster stand at 12,227.
The toll of confirmed Covid-19 cases reported so far in the country thereby climbed to 15,723.
