Missing bodies of family of four in Balangoda recovered

BALANGODA  (Daily Mirror) - The bodies of a family of four who had gone missing after a landslide buried their house in Balangoda have been recovered.

The search operation, conducted with the help of Disaster Management officials, Sri Lanka Army personnel, and local residents, led to the discovery of the bodies today (Tuesday). 

The incident occurred in the Gavaranhena area on Sunday, prompting police investigations to determine if the family was trapped or had managed to evacuate. 

Two houses were damaged by the landslide, and precautionary measures were taken to relocate other residents to safer areas.
