Colombo, August (Daily Mirror) - Amendments to the Online Safety Bill have been gazetted and published yesterday by the Public Security Minister.

The Online Safety Bill has sparked debate and concern, with many worried it could limit freedom of expression and possibly violate the Constitution.

The Cabinet had approved the proposal from Public Security Minister Tiran Alles, to publish the draft bill in the government gazette and then present it to Parliament for approval.
