Colombo, August 10 (Daily Mirror) - The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has reported a total of 268 complaints related to the upcoming Presidential election within the period from July 31 to August 09.
According to a media release issued by the Commission, all complaints were categorized under breaches of laws, with one incident of violence being reported.
The National Centre for Election Complaint Management received 189 complaints, while the District Centers for Election Complaint Management received 80 complaints.
The Election Commission is actively addressing these complaints to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process, said Commissioner General of Elections, Saman Sri Rathnayake.
