Over 400 polls-related complaints during last 24 hours

Colombo, November 14 (Daily Mirror) -  A total of 462 fresh complaints related to the General Elections were received during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of complaints to over 3,800.

The Election Commission said the complaints were received during the period from September 26 to November 11.

Out of the 2,033 complaints, the National Centre for Election Complaint Management received 1,206, while the District Centres for Election Complaint Management received 2,616.

All complaints were categorised as breaches of laws, with 23 incidents of violence being reported.
