Patients at Neluwa Hospital to be airlifted due to floods

Galle, June 2 (Daily Mirror)- Steps have been taken to airlift all pregnant mothers and patients who need emergency care at Neluwa Hospital, Galle to the Udugama Hospital, as all entry roads to the Neluwa Hospital have gone under water, Galle District Community Specialist Dr. Amila Chandrasiri said.

Acting District Secretary of Galle said relief teams from the Sri Lanka Navy and Army have been deployed with boats and safety gear in the Thawalama, Neluwa, Udugama and Hiniduma areas to rescue the affected people.
