Pistol found in possession of Club Wasantha’s wife illegal

Colombo, July 09 (Daily Mirror) - Police authorities have confirmed that the pistol found in possession of the wife of slain ‘Club Wasantha’ is illegal.

According to IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon, the weapon is an illegal one.

Responding to the queries from reporters, Tennakoon said they had launched a special operation in line with the 'Yukthiya' operation to locate illegal weapons.
